I recently had my 75-gallon gas water heater replaced, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

Can’t say enough good things about Petros! Last March on a random Saturday our leak detector went off on our tank water heater. Temperature was freezing outside and I had young children at home. I scrambled to find on Google a plumber who could provide emergency services and Petros responded right away. He gave me a good quote, went to a supplier to find the tank I needed, and came to install it. Everything was done within the day and we had hot water to bath the kids!! He was very professional and efficient.

Couple days ago, a week before Christmas, my parents’ house had a leak from their tank, plus a shower faucet that was not letting out cold water. After going back and forth with a local handyman who was to repair but then suggested that we replace the tank entirely, I reached out to Petros again late in the evening in desperation. From just couple photos, he identified the problems, got the parts and fixed everything the next day. Aside from being amazed by his skills, I was really moved as he drove more than an hour from his last job to us just so we could have hot water and shower during the holidays. We are located far from his general service area but he went out of his way to help us. I would highly recommend him if you are in towns close to Melrose!

When we had an emergency plumbing issue recently, I asked my friends for suggestions. We are so thankful to get recommended you guys. It was really stressful to have problem late at night. We called other places that can’t schedule anyone over for days. You promptly answered our call and came in bright and early next morning to fix. Very professional and efficient. I reached out to Petros on Easter about a leak in my shower and he responded immediately-he was able to identify the problem within minutes, and I immediately felt less anxious about the process. I had a bathroom remodeled in the fall and the drain pipe hadn’t been installed properly, which caused a leak and damage to the floor. He promptly repaired it and even recommend a reputable contractor for the patch and repair work. He was so kind and helpful, has an extensive amount of knowledge, and did an amazing job handling the leak so quickly on a holiday weekend. I am thrilled to have found such a wonderful local business!

Petros rebuilt 13 shutoff valves in my condo and installed a new kitchen faucet. He was clean, very quick, and knowledgeable. He loves his job and wants to do quality work. I appreciate that he explained to me what he was doing as he was doing it, and all his work made sense to me.

In contrast, I contacted 3 other plumbers – all of them were more expensive by varying degrees and estimated that the repairs would take all day. A few of them suggested repairs that were questionable.
